About Us

The college was established in the year 2007 under the ages of Kathua Educational society with the sole motto of uplifting the educational standards of the students of backward classes especially in the remote areas. The society has already achieved a lot in spreading the education through other institutions established earlier.

The society has pledged to impart quality education to children with more emphasis on female child and building personalities rather than just educated youth.

Affiliation

The college is recoganised by the Government vide order No. 143/HE of 2007 dated 19/07/2007 and affiliated to University of Jammu vide order No. CDC/2007/690-700 dated 09/10/2007 for imparting instructions in Bachelor of Education Course. The admissions are done strictly on merit basis by the process conducted by University of Jammu authorities. The University of Jammu is Five Star graded by NAAC.

Location

The institution is located on tover a vast area of 10 Kanals of land at a very calm and quite place with a picturesque surroundings, pollution free environment and lush green lawns.

College is 6 KMs from Kathua Railway station 80 KMs from the University of Jammu. Kathua town is surrounded by a large number of religious places of great importance and hence is known for pilgrimage to many shrines.

Further, Jammu is also know as the City of Temples and shrines with a beautiful picturesque, flora and fauna. Millions of visitors arrive here every year to pay their obeisance to the holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi and other religious places. The college is few KMs from the Gateway of Jammu & Kashmir.
